The out of bounds on the right immediately creates pressure. A 3 wood or a long iron may be enough to put you in play. For the ladies, a driver is better as the hole is long. Large green sloping back to front
Par 5, dogl-eg to the right, reachable in 2. The strategy to adopt depends on the position of the flag. Top right, it is better to play 3. Playing on the left side of the fairway should open the green to make it reachable in 2 or 3
Short par 4, out of bounds on the right. It is easier to use a 3 wood or a long iron for precision. The green slopes back to front for the first 10m, it is better to play lonf if the flag is near the front of green.
Favour a draw with a driver for this par 4, one of the most difficult of the course
Narrow green sloping back to front. The out of bounds on the left punishes a hook, the hollow to the right of the green welcomes a slice
Par 5 dog-leg right. A long drive is best for the second shot but beware of the fairways bunkers. Large green sloping back to front
Narrow raised green for this par 3. If you land short on the green the ball will roll down. The choice of the correct club and accuracy are both rewarded on this hole.
Short dog-leg left. A long iron is enough to put the ball in play for the second shot. For the best approach to the green, aim dow the right hand side of the fairway.
Short par 5, with dog-leg to the left. Favour a a draw to reach the green in 2 for an eagle or a birdie. Extremely long green.
Short par 4. The strategy of the drive depends on the position of the flag (difficult if it is at the entrance to the green)
Short par 3, choose your club carefully. The green is surrounded by bunkers. Like Hole 7 the correct choice of club and precision will bring their rewards.
The beginning of the Amen Corner de St Germain : long straight par 4, often into the Wind. No particular difficulty on this hole despite its lenght.
Short par 4 which looks easy, but the green is long and narrow. Play on the left side of the fairway to open the green.
Par 4 « signature » of the course, especially from the new back tees. Favour a draw with the drive to ensure the ball is well placed for approach to the green wich slopes from back to front.
Par 5 the green reachable in 2 with a good drive. Beware of bunkers by the green. For the ladies, it is more difficult as the drive can roll away to the right, but don't panic, it is a par 5 !
Short par 4 reachable in 1, but with out of bounds on the right. For the ladies, drive to the right side of the fairway to avoid the bunker on the left. Very deep green.
Par 3 with raised green. yet another hol where succes requires the choice of the correct club used with precision.
