Published in 2012, the guide to the best 1000 golf courses in the world listed the most beautiful golf courses in the world amongst the 32000 recorded: 362 were in the USA, 282 in Europe, 237 in Asia and Africa and 119 in other parts of the world. 22 French courses were selected from a list of 574. St. Germain was ranked 20th in France.
